Capricorn’s 2012 Winter Solstice Blessings

The Solstice marks the time when the day length begins to change

Many stone circles show alignments to the rising of the Sun at dawn on the Winter Solstice. Celebrated by the ancient cultures as a symbolic return of the Light, this sacred time represented a spiritual renewal because, in the Northern Hemisphere, the day length begins to increase again after the longest night of the year.

Three days of Solstice stillness

The word ‘Solstice’ means ‘the standing still of the sun’. Due to the axis tilt of Mother Earth the daily locations of the sunrise and sunset appear to move along the horizon. This annual movement of the Sun reaches its most southerly point at the time of the Winter Solstice when the rising Sun appears to stand still on the horizon for three days before reversing direction and turning northwards again.

The physical light of the Sun represents the inner light of our spiritual awareness so for the three days over the Solstice when the Sun appears to be standing still on the horizon, it is as though we are being invited to make time to stop, pause for thought and consider what we have learnt and achieved in the time since the previous Solstice.

In this period of stillness and inner reflection we have time to review our life circumstances, understand our motives and learn from the outcomes of our choices. Encouraged by these practical insights and a inspired with better understanding of what we want to do, we may then decide to make loving and healthy changes in our relationships, work patterns, habits and routines.

At the Winter Solstice the Sun moves into the Star Sign of Capricorn

The Winter Solstice also marks the time in the Solar year when the Sun lights up the celestial energies of Capricorn, the Zodiac’s  intrepid Mountain Goat.  Capricorn’s energies speak to our ability to be inspired by our spiritual purpose and then use our skills to manifest these creative goals with practical methods of working. These Mountain Goat energies are also ambitious and methodically purposeful with an inner drive to look for pathways of self-expression which express our spiritual values in loving ways. Capricorn  wants to use its hard won wisdom to create practical outcomes with dedicated care and a loving attention to detail.

Resetting our spiritual purpose with the timing of the Cosmic Clock

Due to other factors such as the Progression of the Equinoxes, the solar energies being focussed by this year’s 2012 Capricorn Sun at the Winter Solstice will be very special indeed. In effect, this particular Solstice could be compared with the switching and resetting of a Cosmic Clock instead of just the annual lengthening of the solar day-time.

In effect this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to use this particular Winter Solstice stationing of the Sun to quietly receive the cosmically coded energies which have been designed to spiritually awaken our minds and open our Hearts. We are also being offered the chance to focus on how we can connect our spiritual purpose with our real-world, hands-on expertise so that we can create ways of living which express our desire for inspired practical and heartfelt action not just for next solar year but for the rest of our life path.

12.12.12 Aligning with the Light of Divine Love

It certainly feels as though the influx of cosmic energies grounded in Glastonbury’s Landscape Temple on the 12.12.12. amplified the power of Unconditional Love in readiness for the Global Celebration of Light on the 21^st December 2012.  A key note was the opening of the Heart Chakra to forgiving and healing the pain and hurt from the time of Atlantis. This emotional release had the effect of collapsing the ancient Timelines from this era; old Timelines which had been energised by the emotions of fear, hurt, anger and loss rather than the higher vibrations of Unconditional Love.

When we honour our desire to open our Hearts to Love, we are able to absorb the spiritual information which is always available in the energies of Light surrounding us. This assimilation amplifies our vibration and inspires a remembrance of our power to manifest our lives with the higher vibration of the Divine frequencies of Love. We are also impulsed to heal and release emotions that are being held as old memories and experiences  that are not vibrating with the higher frequency of our Divinity.

Becoming more conscious of your own Divinity

Each new influx of Celestial frequencies further amplifies our ability to absorb and physically embody even more Light. There is strengthening of the ‘diamond-light frequencies’, the subtle flows of the crystalline energy matrix which interpenetrates the physical matter of our 3D bodies.

Further cycles of purifying release, forgiveness and healing are then needed for our physical and emotional bodies to realign and recalibrate every organ and cell with the higher vibration of the quantum energy-fields of Celestial Light that have been received. However each cycle of redefining and purifying further amplifies our capacity to hold the higher frequencies of Love. We are consciously perceiving and then physically embodying more of our Divinity.

Embodying the Divine Frequencies of Love

This on-going process of embodying the higher frequencies of Love and Light activates the Cellular Memory held by the DNA. The 12 Chakra energy systems of our Light Body are stimulated and we remember the spiritual skills and abilities learnt in other lifetimes. We become more aware of our Soul’s multidimensional consciousness and our unique path of service. We are more open to the Love that the Mother of All has for us and are inspired with new ways to manifest our Divinity.

Our body’s new energy pathways vibrate with the higher frequencies of love, devotion, joy and celebration. The Chrystal Matrix energy circuits of Mother Earth support the new Divine energy circuits flowing in our purified physical bodies and we are empowered to co-create with those of like mind; with those who also want to sing the songs coming from the centre of the Cosmic Heart.

Avalon’s Phoenix of Transformation: The Sign of Aquarius in the Glastonbury Temple of Stars

The Glastonbury Temple of the Stars is a huge Star Map of the Zodiac Constellations which energetically overlays the fields and villages in and around Glastonbury for several miles. First described by Katherine Maltwood in 1934, the outlines of these Star Maps are marked in the local landscape by the roads, streams, lanes and field boundaries.

Katherine was an artist by profession and she had first perceived the expanse of the Glastonbury Zodiac in a spiritual vision. She then worked out the detailed outline of each Star Map in the physical Landscape by referencing local maps and place names.

Glastonbury occupies the position of Aquarius in this Temple of Stars. Aquarius is usually linked with the image of The Water Carrier; the one who brings the Waters of Life, Light and Love to the thirsty. This symbolism conveys the idea of Celestial energies carrying cosmic frequencies of Light flowing down to Mother Earth like a waterfall.

On the personality level, these energies represent the ability to appreciate the unusual, innovative and spiritual perspectives in life and the willingness to share these unconventional insights with others. These are the ‘light- bulb’ moments which wake us up with new information and innovative solutions to life’s problems. On the spiritual level,  these are the vibrations which create an enlightenment or expansion of consciousness in our minds.

Visitors come from all over the world now to enjoy Glastonbury’s High Street shops and Workshops which share spiritual products, information and expertise. The town’s Aquarius placement in larger Landscape Zodiac has been translated into its unusual, now global role as an information centre for the New Age’s spiritual revolution; a perfect physical representation of the Landscape’s Star Map influx of Celestial energies.

However, the Sign of Aquarius in the Glastonbury Zodiac is not symbolised by the traditional image of the Water Carrier. Instead it is a Phoenix. Why is this so? In the multidimensional language of images, Katherine Maltwood’s switch in symbolism from the usual Water Carrier to innovative Phoenix in the Glastonbury Zodiac becomes wonderfully insightful. The Phoenix is an ancient symbol associated with inner Alchemy and the kinds of changes in consciousness which can result in a profound spiritual transformation. These are the awakenings of consciousness which come from a deeper level, the kind of epiphanies that can change our lives in a profound way.

Mary Magdalene’s Celestial Keys

We are slowly remembering the true role of Mary Magdalene in Britain’s earlier forms of Christianity: that she was regarded as a Saint and an important founder of the Church. Mary’s legacy was once highly valued. She was honoured and she was deeply respected.

There are still many towns with streets, Chapels and other buildings in the UK dedicated to her. Glastonbury has a Magdalene Street where you can step inside the tiny houses of a mediaeval Hospice which were named in her memory.

Suddenly, a Witch Hunt

But then, for some reason, the Roman Church became so threatened by Mary’s name and memory that they invented the first media witch hunt – literally! The Magdalene Mary was besmirched, dishonoured, tainted and tarnished. She was gradually demoted and linked with the archetype of a repentant whore rather than an honoured Saint and founder of the First Church.

And those who objected were somehow or other silenced. What was going on?

The Promise of Revelations

Not so long ago, the enormous success of Dan Brown’s book, The Da Vinci Code, famously took the lid off hundreds of years of persecution of the truth about Mary’s real relationship with Yeshua (Jesus). The goose was out and we began to realise that we could trust what we had sensed all along – that there really was a cover-up of something strangely vital, important and powerful.

But what exactly was it? Dan Brown’s various books gave out lots of hints and others soon jumped onto a bandwagon that seemed to promise instant fame and glory. Revelations followed: that there are secret societies in the know and they are guarding powerful information that can unlock any and every door.

We were all intrigued, well, just a little bit, until we realised that all those special, secret people had no intention of inviting all and sundry onto their membership lists. Maybe it was just another trick to make few clever people lots of money. Well, it certainly worked, for them anyway!

Those Celestial Keys are in the Gospel of Mary Magdalene

Somewhere along the line a few years ago, I found this quote from a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882).

“Like the astrologers of eld (old),

In that bright vision I beheld

Greater and deeper mysteries.

 I saw, with its celestial keys,

Its chords of air, its frets of fire,

The Samian’s great Aeolian lyre,

Rising through all its sevenfold bars,

From earth unto the fixed stars.”

I remember being both shocked and delighted when I first found these words – shocked by the beauty of Longfellow’s insight and delighted by his eloquence.  My personal journey had already led me back to the Gospel of Mary Magdalene and I had begun to understand her message enough to realise that Longfellow had also very likely been privy to her Revelations.

This is what was being hidden but the Goose is out!
